Biography
Studied with Kazuo Ohno from 1970.
After her solo debut in 1975, went on to collaborate in theatre work and with French dancers, as well as continuing solo performances.
Based in France 1987-1990. Invited to Europe and America to perform her solo She.
Created a number of exclusive Butoh performances titled the Melanchonlia series from 2003.
Won an award from the Dance Critics Society of Japan for Baby Melancholia-Dream of Six Nights in 2009.
プロフィール
1970年より舞踏家大野一雄氏に師事。
75年ソロ公演デビュー後ソロ活動の他、演劇、仏ダンサーとの共同作業。
87～90年渡仏。ソロ公演［彼女］は欧州、米国等に招聘。
2003年より舞踏秘儀としてのメランコリアシリーズを経て活動を続ける。
2009年ベィビーメランコリア夢六夜にて舞踊批評家協会賞を受賞。
